In the past, I opened lawsuits against the Federal Criminal Police, the Federal Internal secret service and the Police in Berlin in order to have access to files about my person. In the eighties, there were no Privacy Acts in Germany, they came later.
In 1994, the German government presented an anti-crime law (Verbrechensbekämfpungsgesetz) that allowed the German authorities to control all telephone lines abroad. I.e. - what Mr. Snowden tells us now, just was law in 1994. I filed a lawsuit in the Constitutional Court against this law, I was represented by Professor Dr. Eggert Schwan. With me was my secretary Richard S., an uruguayan citizen.

The Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe ruled in 1998 that the law violated the German constitution. But the judges rejected the lawsuit of my assistent, because the German Constitution is only protecting German citizens, not persons with citizenship from Uruguay.download
In 2001, German government presented another, very similar law that allows BND to control the telephone calls and other messages in foreign countries without permission of a judge. This is the legal situation until today. I filed against the decision another lawsuit in the European Court for Human Rights because my privacy rights and the right to exercise my profession are violated. The Court did not even accepted the request. download
